Head of Litigation
Vipul joined Naylor, Solicitors in March 2020 as Head of Litigation, bringing with him a decade of experience in real estate litigation and dispute resolution.
His expertise spans commercial landlord and tenant disputes and property litigation. In particular, he specialises in business lease renewals (opposed and unopposed), breach and enforcement of leasehold covenants, break notices, dilapidations, service charge disputes, tenant insolvency and advising on general land law matters such as easements and restrictive covenants. He is also experienced in dealing with general litigation and contractual issues. Vipul’s client base includes owners and occupiers of commercial property (including hotels, shopping centres and offices), along with developers, small and medium-sized businesses and individuals.
A member of the Property Litigation Association, Vipul has written for the Property Law Journal and Lexis Nexis. He studied law at the University of Birmingham and then completed an LLM in Commercial Law at University College London, prior to qualifying as a solicitor.
In his spare time, Vipul enjoys playing football, adventure travel and is a keen theatre-goer.
