Jennifer Scurfield

Senior Associate Solicitor

Jennifer was the firm’s first trainee and qualified as a solicitor in July 2015. She is now head of the Residential Leasehold department.

Her varied caseload includes lease extensions, freehold acquisitions by leaseholders (of flats or houses) and acquisitions of the right to manage by leaseholders.

In addition she has extensive general real estate litigation experience, regularly taking cases to court, the First-Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) and the Land Registration Tribunal.

She is therefore happy to tackle both contentious and non-contentious property matters and she is a member of the Property Litigation Association.

Jennifer obtained both an undergraduate and graduate degree in law from the University Pantheon-Assas Paris 2 (France) and an LLM from the University of Kent (Canterbury).

She also successfully completed both the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law (London-Bloomsbury) before being offered a training contract at the firm.

Having been raised in France with a British background, Jennifer is bilingual and regularly assists the firm’s French speaking clients with services in English property law.
