Euro 2016 Event Round-up [PICTURES]

On Thursday 16th June we hosted a LIVE screening of England v Wales at Blueberry Bar in Shoreditch, especially for valued clients, contacts and London property professionals.

As a small and relatively new firm, we were aiming for a distinctive and innovative twist on traditional professional networking which was at once fun and topical.

That’s why we opted for a Euro 2016 themed event, complete with football songs, beer pong, table tennis, personalised football tickets and plenty of free food & drink.

We had a wonderful time and several guests described it as the best corporate event they had ever been to. And a 2-1 victory for England rounded things off nicely!

It was fantastic to meet so many people and we would like to thank everyone who attended the afternoon for their presence and support.

Max’s Foundation

A key feature of the event was a fundraising auction and raffle in aid of Max’s Foundation, a charity which works with Great Ormond Street to fund research into a rare and often undetected heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

David Schiller gave us a profoundly moving speech about how his son Max had died suddenly from the condition at the age of just 10, inspiring him and his wife Shira to set up the charity to help stop this terrible tragedy befalling anybody else.

We were overwhelmed by everyone’s generosity in responding to this tragic story and we have so far raised over £1,800 for this deeply worthwhile cause.

The auction featured a signed Arsenal shirt, a framed 1948 Arsenal programme and a signed Watford pennant, while the raffle included VIP tickets to the London Broncos, return Eurostar tickets and a Carraway golf driver amongst other items.

We are hugely grateful to all our charity donors and sponsors, including Diamond Photos, Eurostar, Lloyds CMS, Moretons, News on the Block, MyLeasehold and Crabtree Property Management.

Many thanks to everyone who supported us by bidding on the various lots and helping us sell out of raffle tickets. The fundraising efforts on the day were a great success!

But we still need your help to reach the £2000 milestone. If you weren’t able to make the event and would like to make a small contribution, please click here to donate online. Be sure to quote ‘ref CG Naylor’ in the text box so they can keep track of the fundraising.
